1862 dated Millard. CEW inspected as is correct, on ricasso and pommel cap. This sword is in way above average condition with much original finish on blade. Grip has 100% original wire and wrap with no restoration. Scabbard is dent free. Millard had a contract for only 10,000 swords and therefore was the smallest produced contract making it rare in comparison to other makers. You won’t be disappointed with this example. One of the better Millard’s I have been able to acquire, especially recently.
