Above average condition 3 line address Memphis Novelty works. Sword has 100% original leather and wire wrap on grip. Thinning but all present on the grip. Blade has nice smooth greying patina and typical waving from ricasso to tip. Scabbard is correct with brass throat and mounts. and correct brass drag. Between lower mount and drag there is an age old repair and my guess is wartime arsenal work to get it out in service again. Probably in the top 75% of these swords that have survived. Will fit in the best of any Confederate or edged weapons collection and not crazy money.
